Local TV schedule set for Thunder-Lakers playoff series
Recommend email print Facebook rss FOX Sports Oklahoma today announced the regional television schedule for the Oklahoma City Thunder-Los Angeles Lakers NBA Western Conference first-round playoff series.
All games in the best-of-seven series not broadcast nationally on ABC will be televised regionally in high-definition on FOX Sports Oklahoma with Thunder announcers Brian Davis (play-by-play), Grant Long (analyst) and Tom Werme (home game courtside reporter) calling the action.
FOX Sports Oklahoma’s regional telecasts include Game 2 on Tuesday, April 20 at 9:30 PM CT from Los Angeles, Game 3 on Thursday, April 22 at 8:30 PM CT from Oklahoma City, and Game 4 on Saturday, April 24 at 8:30 p.m. CT from Oklahoma City. Television plans for the rest of the series will be announced if Games 5-7 are necessary.
THUNDER LIVE pregame and postgame shows will complement FOX Sports Oklahoma’s playoff coverage. The 30-minute shows will feature game highlights, coach Scott Brooks’ postgame press conferences, locker room interviews, player profiles, and perspective and analysis by former University of Oklahoma basketball player Elissa Walker Campbell.
The addition of Thunder playoff games necessitates the following changes to FOX Sports Oklahoma’s program schedule:
April 22 Rangers-Red Sox game scheduled to air on FOX Sports Oklahoma at 6:00 PM CT has been moved to FOX Sports Oklahoma Plus and will replace the Marlins-Astros game. April 24 Tigers-Rangers game scheduled to air on FOX Sports Oklahoma at 7:00 PM CT will only be available to satellite TV customers on FOX Sports Southwest (DirecTV Ch. 676 & Dish Network Ch. 416). April 23 Detroit Tigers-Texas Rangers game has been added to FOX Sports Oklahoma schedule.
